Darryl J. Jacobs

Darryl J. Jacobs

Darryl Jacobs received his undergraduate degree from The City College of New York and his Doctorate of Jurisprudence (J.D.) degree from Whittier College School of Law. Additionally, he holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) Degree in Taxation from Boston University School of Law.

Mr. Jacobs is licensed to practice in the State of Florida and before the United States Tax Court. He is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, the Estate Planning Council, County Bar Associations and the Florida Bar Association.

He is founding member of the "Wills On Wheels" program of the Put Something Back project, recognized by the Florida Supreme Court as the Outstanding Volunteer Bar Association Joint Pro Bono Program in the state.

In addition, he has been a guest columnist for the Scripps newspaper chain, writing on the topics of wills and trusts in its Estate Planning Supplement.

Melinda M. Jacobs

Melinda M. Jacobs

Melinda M. Jacobs received her undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder. She received her Doctorate of Jurisprudence (J.D.) degree from Barry University School of Law, from which she graduated as the Valedictorian. Ms. Jacobs is licensed to practice in the State of Florida and is a member of the Indian River Bar Association and the Florida Bar Association.

Ms. Jacobs has worked at the Florida Supreme Court under Justice Peggy Quince and at the District Court for the Southern District of Florida under Judge Robin L. Rosenberg.

Ms. Jacobs has been recognized by Florida Rural Legal Services for her pro bono work for the poor and elderly of Indian River County and by the Dade County Bar Association and the 11th Circuit for her pro bono work with the "Wheels on Wheels" program of the Put Something Back project.
